Insisting upon the signi cance of the changing social status of shared parenting after divorce in Japan, both some juridical professionals and the parents involved are seeking more functional social support systems to deal with it, as well as the possibility of reforming Japan’s family law. As such, in reviewing rising claims of family disputes, this article explores the ways in which the family today can deal with this complicated matter, in conjunction with public, non-juridical family support instruction. In so doing, it rst attempts to describe the ways in which troubles with child visitation in the Japanese separated family has lately has been problematized. Then, regarding the concept of “good divorce” as a key idea in the construction of parenting in a separated family, it reviews the principle of shared parenting by divorced families in several Western societies. Finally, brie y introducing the role of a government-funded institution of multi- family support established in Australia in 2006, this article will consider the ways in which different shared parenting circumstances are both flexibly and inclusively supported by the public sector, as well as by the private efforts of each family for the best interests of the children.

In relation to other self-referential social systems and the structural couplings and communications through them, it may also be necessary for the theory to involve a wider range of family organizational patterns while remaining a space wherein intimacy is maintained. The functional approach to the family of Niklas Luhman's social systems theory will account for a radical model of the family. If the family today must be investigated with consideration to its wider dynamic relationships (or communications) with other social components beyond regional or spatial limits in the age of globalization, his theoretical elaboration can be further investigated in that it redefines social systems theory by drawing attention to the alternative traits of modernizations in our society.

am）として世界各地で継続実施されている。北九州市では、北九州ESD協議会の下で2006年からESDが実施・展開されてきた。なかでも、そのESDの活動の特徴の一つに韓国のESD地域拠点（RCE）との持続的な国際交流がある。韓国内にはRCEは5つあるが、それぞれ違った特徴を持っている。残念ながら、韓国のRCEの特徴は邦語で表されていないので、日本人の大半はそれらの特徴を知らない。今後のESDの方向性や国際交流を見据えた場合、どのような特徴を持っているのかを知ることは非常に重要である。今回、ESDつながりで江原道インジェ郡に研修旅行（スタディツアー）をする機会を得たことを契機に、RCEインジェがどのような特徴を持っているのか、通常の文献と研修旅行で得た観察・インタビュー・アクティビティ体験などをつうじて、平和教育と生命（命の）教育に焦点をおいているRECインジェのESDの特徴をとらえてみた。

arner initiatives) によって引き起こされた教師のフィードバック行動 (follow-up moves) を抜き出し、その機能を分析、分類した。語学の授業のインターアクションにおける特殊性は言語が教育の内容 (content) でもあり、また、教育の手段 (medium) でもあるという点である。一般的に語学の授業の談話 (discourse) においては、form-focused talk (文型や文法に焦点を当てた談話) とcontent/meaning-focused talk (意味や話大に焦点を当てた談話) の2つの形態が現れ、前者はnon-communicative talk、後者はcommunicative talkであるとされる。しかし、この論文ではこの2つを対立するものとしてではなく、互いに補完しあうものとしてとらえる。その上で、教師が学習者との対話を維持し、深めていくために、そのfollow-up movesがどのような役割を果たしているのかを探る。

As an exemplification for issues surrounding morphology, I show several phenomena in English and Japanese that can be best captured at the interface of morphology and other domains of grammar.In Section 3 I will show that morphology is an independent module with many operations at work at the interfaces with syntax and phonology.

In Omoo, Melville uses an unnamed narrator whose adventures are not as detailed as Tommo’s are in Typee; the narrator digresses from a straightforward narrative in order to devote significant time to critiquing the supposed advancements brought about by the missionaries and colonizers. Looking at the current religious and societal position of the Tahitians, the narrator asserts that the natives are in worse condition then when they were considered “savages.” The listlessness the narrator sees in the Tahitians drives him to make his strongest argument against the work of the missionaries. Since the efforts to civilize the natives through industry have hopelessly failed, the narrator comes to the conclusion that if true Christian faith existed in them, advancements in their culture should have succeeded.

The narrator in each text portrays the work of the missionaries as being detrimental to the lives of the natives and Typee and Omoo work together to show the disparity in the living situations that have been created for the natives. One of the primary focuses of this article will be to contrast the Typee’s connection with nature against the manner by which the Tahitian’s have been indoctrinated into the “white civilization”, thereby removing them from the communion with nature still experienced by the Typee. This contrast of environments appears much clearer when the books are presented together; ultimately, they show how the Typee natives coexist with their environment without requiring external factors while the “civilized” natives are losing their grasp on the natural world within which they once existed.
